Austin Light Artillery Battery
This is who we are & what we do.
The Austin Light Artillery Battery takes its name from the Texas 6th Field Artillery Battery of the Confederate States of America. It is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian reenactment group based in Austin, Texas. The battery owns a fully functional reproduction of an 1841 Six Pound Smooth Bore Light Artillery Piece named "Patience." We reenact timeframes from the Texas Revolution, through the War Between the States, and up to the Cowboy times. We reenact to pay tribute to all the military people that have served the United States through it's long history.
